So yes, read The Raven Boys and The Winner's Curse series. Here's why.
ReplyDeleteTHE RAVEN BOYS: This is the series for 'wow, that's weird but oh my god I love you' moments. The four boys, Gansey, Ronan, Adam and Noah are perfect and they just give you a lot of feels and everyone has a different favourite. Kind of like the Marauders, only weirder. This is especially great if you like fantasy/history, especially British history because Welshness.
THE WINNER'S CURSE: One word for you...PAIN. This series has honestly ripped my heart out more times than I can count and there's only two books so far. It is SO good. This is proper high fantasy (TRB is more light fantasy), and it's got amazing world building and this really intense political stuff going on as well as a bit of romance and some other stuff.
So yes, READ THEM.

The fact that you compare them to the Marauders makes this an absolute must read, and I think that this will be the next series I dive into! And Winner's Curse sounds so completely up my alley as well! Its definitely going to stay towards the top of my to read list!
